The object of procurement is automatic analyzer which analyzes oats, barley, wheat and rye seed samples taken for official testing for seed certification. The device works independently. It can adjust itself to local seed material. Calibration, licences and software support are included in the procurement, and the maintenance and service agreement will be procured in order to ensure good working condition of the device. The supplier takes charge of delivering the device to Finnish Food Authority, setup of it to working condition, providing the operating instructions and operator training. Following delivery, the device shall be set up without delay. The device will be placed at Finnish Food Authority's premises (Tampereentie 51, Loimaa) in research and laboratory department which is equipped with regular technical and laboratory facilities.

The object of procurement is seed analyzer which handles and analyzes full-sized official cereal seed samples automatically. By separating and recognizing pure barley, oats, wheat and rye seeds it makes large part of work of other seed determination analyses that is mandatory for all seed samples that are taken for the certification and marketing of seed lots. Finnish Food Authority is currently the only body that analyzes the official seed samples in Finland. The number of samples is approximately 4 000 per year. The device includes operating system with computer and software for data acquisition, processing, data analysis and reporting, automatic sample handling and analyzing-system. It has readiness for wireless access to internet. The analyzer adjusts itself to local seed material and varieties. Samples can be uploaded in the machine and are moved automatically to be analyzed. The device divides samples into 2 fractions; pure seed and rejected fraction.
