Consideration of the award of services: State Building Office Nuremberg, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, place of execution: Erlangen, technical equipment according to HOAI part 4, section 2, system groups 1 AWG, 2 WVA, 3 LTA, 7 NSA media supply fire extinguishing technology process technology and 8 GA. for the new technical chemistry building.
The Free State of Bavaria, represented by the State Building Authority of Erlangen-Nuremberg, intends to erect the new Technical Chemistry building on the grounds of the Faculty of Engineering at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg.
The room program includes a total usable area (NF 1 - 7 according to DIN 277) of 5,547 m
Sewage, water and gas plants:
The water supply takes place via the existing infrastructure of the Erlangen public utilities. The conditions for rainwater infiltration and the economic viability of using gray water are the subject of planning.
Hot water is provided decentrally.
The contaminated wastewater is treated and then discharged into the public system. There is a mixed water channel on site.
Heat supply systems:
District heating is provided via the existing infrastructure on the north-west side of the property. The district heating pipe runs here. A district heating route (approx. 50 meters) must be relocated in the area of the construction site. The building is supplied with district heating from the Erlangen public utility network.
The new building will be connected to the central cooling network of the university's southern site. Individual rooms must be additionally cooled due to high internal loads that cannot be removed via the partial air conditioning systems of the laboratory ventilation.
Ventilation systems:
There is a need for ventilation in the areas of laboratories, IT rooms, seminar rooms, toilets and interior rooms. The design is based on usage. Highly efficient heat recovery systems are planned.
The high technical equipment of the laboratories (34 digistories) results in a larger total air volume than the Free State of Bavaria, represented by the State Building Authority of Erlangen-Nuremberg, than the minimum air volumes specified in the laboratory guidelines. There are a large number of individual ventilation systems or zones with different ventilation requirements.
Separate HVAC systems with increased requirements are required for the high-pressure laboratory, the clean room, the explosion-protected laboratories (Ex-protected exhaust air system for point extraction and laboratory fume cupboards), welding place extraction systems, and hazardous substance storage.
Use-specific systems:
A widely branched, central technical gas network (synthetic air, hydrogen, argon, helium and nitrogen) with division / billing depending on the chair must be provided in the building. Starting from a location that is spatially separate from the main building (gas storage facility active), the gases are conducted in a widely branched network within the building. The building is also centrally supplied with compressed air, demineralized water and laboratory cooling water.
For the nitrogen storage a 10 m
A large number of the laboratories are equipped with a gas warning system (20 pieces).
Extinguishing water pipes, wall hydrants and hand-held fire extinguishers are also used.
Building automation:
The automation systems required on the building side are set up and connected to the central BMS system of the university. The required interface compatibility of the automation systems is ensured by specifying the existing technical standards (specifications of the FAU) to the executing GA company. The signals are transmitted via the fiber optic network in the property (set up by the electrical trade).
The connection to the control system is to take place via the existing parallel control system until the building is handed over.
