The Traffic Situation Service is Fintraffic's online service, through which up-to-date traffic snapshots from the Finnish transport network are distributed. The service provides information related to road, rail, air and sea transport, for example, information on road traffic disruptions and traffic fluidity and congestion. As a rule, as a source of information, the service utilizes open traffic data available through Fintraffic's Digitraffic service. The service also makes use of other sources of information, for example municipal datasets. Service

Traffic Situation service is currently visited by approx. 50,000 to 80,000 users per month. The service should also be able to handle higher numbers of visitors without problems.

The acquisition is the operation, maintenance and further development of the Transport Situation service.
