The subject of this award procedure is the awarding of services for the specialist planning of baggage handling system system system group 6 §55 HOAI in accordance with the scope of services for STRzero GFA at Stuttgart Airport.
Flughafen Stuttgart GmbH (FSG) intends to carry out a comprehensive refurbishment and conversion as well as the development of the existing terminal facilities. The aim is to optimise energy efficiency by 2040 against the background of the targeted climate neutrality, as well as to improve the structure and processes. Within the framework of this project, it is necessary to set up replacement measures before the start of the aforementioned renovation and conversion measures. These include, in particular, conversion and adaptation measures to the baggage handling system in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
The aim of the project is to ensure that baggage can be transported from baggage hall T3 to T1 via a new connecting route and checked and sorted in baggage hall T1. In addition, baggage will be checked in at the new check-in row and transported to baggage hall T3 via an anthology belt. For the implementation of the project goal, it is necessary to dismantle the output cycle 20 (AR20).
Planning of the measure is scheduled to begin in Q1 2024. Further details on the timeframe can be found in the document "Rough schedule".
For the implementation of the overall measure (compensation measure baggage handling system), a total budget of approx. EUR 7,650,000 (KG 460) is currently assumed.
