The Provision of Wheelchair maintenance, repair and rehabilitation engineering services for Guys and St Thomas' Hospital and al it's associated community services and acute sites.

This requirements seeks potential suppliers to provide a maintenance and repair service for people who use the wheelchair service at Bowley Close, Rehab Unit SE19, The Amputee Rehab Unit SE11 and the Guy's & ST Thomas' Acute site in SE1.

The main centre at Bowley provides a rehabilitation service for children and adults with physical disabilities primarily from South East London and its adjacent counties. The wheelchair service is a substantial part of the service provided at Bowley Close.

The contract shall cover all of the following elements each of which is described in detail within this Specification:

This requirements seeks potential suppliers to provide a Rehabilitation Engineers service integral to the Multidisciplinary Team's of the Wheelchair & special seating, the Prosthetic and the Assistive communication services for the assessment, bespoke design and modification and manufacturing of the medical devices at Bowley Close, Farquhar Road, Crystal Palace, London SE19 1SZ. The centre provides a rehabilitation and specialist equipment service for children and adults with physical disabilities primarily from South East London and its adjacent counties. The wheelchair Re-design and modification element is a substantial part of the wheelchair and special seating service provided, The bespoke manufacturing of functional aids and appliances for use with Prosthetic limbs and independent quality and warranty control on Prosthetic manufacturing and the manufacture and modification of wheelchair accessories with Assistive Technology services all operating at Bowley Close.
