The Regulatory Authorities invited tenders for membership of a multi-member framework agreement for consultancy support in SEM and I-SEM, relating to economic and technical advice and policy development and implementation.

This notice refers to the award notice for this framework agreement.

7 tenderers were awarded membership of the framework agreement, as outlined below.

Please note that, given the nature of framework agreements, the total contract value referred to below is an estimate of the maximum potential value over the 4 years of the framework agreement.

The contract values referred to in the Supplier details section, below, refer to the estimated value of the first mini competition under this framework.

Scope:

The duration of the framework agreement is for a maximum period of 4 years, i.e. from 1.1.2015 to 31.12.2018.

The following are the some of the key areas of work for which this support may be required:

— I-SEM Capacity Remuneration Mechanism;

— I-SEM Energy Trading Arrangements;

— I-SEM Market Power Mitigation;

— I-SEM Forward Market Liquidity;

— I-SEM Governance and Licensing;

— Regulation of TSOs and MO for I-SEM;

— DS3 System Services, including procurement mechanism detailed design; and,

— Post I-SEM go-live issues.

Please note that while these are the current anticipated work areas for mini-tender competitions under the framework, they are subject to change and could be reduced or added to.
