The Heimbach wastewater treatment plant is to be improved. For this purpose, a lightweight computer building is to be built at the current location of the trickling filter. The trickling filter must be torn down to foundation level. A compact computer and sand trap system is to be erected in the new computer building.

The company building also needs to be converted. Among other things, the blower station of the aeration tanks (BB) must be moved out of the company building. In future, the new blowers will be installed directly at the aeration tanks. A suitable enclosure must be provided for the blowers. In addition, the aeration units in the aeration tanks must be replaced.

The drainage channel and the scraper of the secondary sedimentation tanks (NKB) must be rehabilitated. The Königstuhl is optimized by installing a hood and the diving wall and the spike threshold are renewed.

The centrifuge for sludge dewatering must be replaced. Accommodation in the company building (BG) must be provided. The former installation site of the former centrifuge is available for this purpose. The outgoing centrifuge is already disassembled. A process water storage tank is to be set up for the centrate water from the centrifuge.
