This is to be installed in the DWD data center and replace an existing Oracle SL8500 system with 20,000 storage locations.

After completion of the migration of the data to the new system, the legacy SL8500 system is to be decommissioned. At this time, the new system will be relocated within the data center, combined with an expansion by additional storage locations and drives.

Relocation and expansion are part of this procurement, dismantling and disposal of the old system are optionally offered.
