The task includes cleaning and disinfecting the Ministry of Defence's Materiel and Procurement Agency (hereinafter FMI) own capabilities in order to minimize the biological risk of infection when transporting equipment and vehicles across national borders. In addition, smaller ad hoc tasks, such as removal of mold in containers, etc. as well as to a lesser extent cleaning and disinfecting other nations' equipment and vehicles, will have to be carried out upon arrival and departure from Denmark.

The task includes cleaning and disinfecting FMI's own capacities (e.g. vehicles, containers, etc.) in order to minimize the biological risk of infection when transporting equipment and vehicles across national borders. In addition, smaller ad hoc tasks will have to be carried out, such as removal of mold in containers, etc. as well as to a lesser extent cleaning and disinfection of other nations' equipment and vehicles, upon arrival and departure from Denmark (Host Nation Support).

Cleaning and disinfection must be done in accordance with "FKOBST FSK. 958-1 Minimizing biological risks during transport of military material and personnel" corresponding to NATO STANAG AMedP-4.11 "MEASURES TO REDUCE RISK OF TRANSFER OF BIOLOGICAL HAZARDS DURING TROOP AND MATERIEL MOVEMENT". In addition, other relevant legislation, e.g. environmental legislation, must be complied with.

By cleaning is meant "Procedures that mechanically remove visible dirt, soil, organic matter, pests and invasive species from equipment, equipment and vehicles" and by disinfection is meant "Chemical destruction of disease-causing microorganisms". In this framework agreement, "Chemical destruction" is limited to disinfection that effectively inactivates viruses, bacteria and fungal spores on cleaned surfaces. Disinfection can be done, for example, by wiping with or applying a disinfectant.

It must be possible to carry out cleaning and disinfection all year round and must be carried out locally and in connection with the transport of equipment and vehicles across national borders, so that vehicles and equipment are cleaned on arrival at the destination or that cleaning takes place immediately after arrival at the destination. The supplier must be able to clean and disinfect in Denmark, NATO (excluding the USA and Canada) and the EU.

For each task, there will be a specific task description describing the covered capacities as well as what the supplier is obliged to clean and possibly disinfect. This includes whether the capacities should be cleaned both inside and out, etc. and whether there is only a need for cleaning or whether disinfection should also take place.
