The NPO intends to realise a new user friendly VOD platform that combines the features of the current NPO web sites and apps for NPO.nl and NPOPlus.nl

The new VOD platform will consist of live content, AVOD content and SVOD content. NPO's VOD content is the main focus of the new VOD platform.

3 propositions shall be supported within the new VOD platform:

1) Anonymous users: Live and AVOD content;

2) Registered users: Live and AVOD content with extra features (not exhaustive) that can only be supported when logged in: Favourites, Continue Watching and Recommendations;

3) Premium users: high-quality content (HD), no advertisements and more content available.

The new platform will replace NPO.nl, NPOPlus.nl and the NPO apps. Features that shall be supported in the new VOD platform are described in Annex 1 and 3.
