The progression from low pay programme specifically supports employed individuals with low earnings working in sectors across Leeds City Region that typically have a low skilled workforce. WYCC will support programmes of training (with up to 40 % contribution) to facilitate career progression through skills support in order to provide a platform for greater earning potential and increase social mobility. The services being tendered cover:
(a) employer engagement and recruitment of individuals to undertake training;
(b) development of training and delivery; and
(c) evaluation of the training provision and lessons learned report.
Applicants are expected to outline what training topics would be suitable, considering a combination of industry focused skills and complimentary workplace soft skills. Applicants will be appraised and evaluated based on the technical submission (60 %) and value (40 %).
