Description:
Lot 4 — 485nm excitation laser

The call for proposals “08.20.O.04/Lot 4 — 485nm excitation lasers” presents lot 4 of 4 calls for applications of the research project “Next-Generation super-resolution optical STED microscopy of cellular dynamics (advanced-STED)”. Originally, three tenders were planned within the framework of this project. During the course of the project, however, it became apparent that the additional purchase of a STED laser is necessary to achieve the project objective. A cost-neutral redeployment has therefore been carried out, which is why 4 calls are now being made.

The Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technologies e. V. Jena is launching a pulsed excitation laser at 485 nm as part of the project “Advanced STED: Next Generation super-resolution optical STED microscopy of cellular dynamics”. In this project, endoscopic STED microscopy images are carried out using a fiber that allows images deep in the tissue.

- Scoring criteria: technical specifications 70%, price 30%.
