The subject matter is the processing of the data supplied by the customer for transaction printing and the corresponding printing of the outgoing printed items, enveloping, franking, shipping preparation and transfer to a shipping service provider.

The object of performance is the processing of the data supplied by the customer for transaction printing and the corresponding printing of the outgoing printed items, the preparation for dispatch (including by attaching delivered inserts or brochures to be produced by the contractor, the printing of the shipping envelopes to be produced by the contractor with logos, the enveloping and franking) as well as the transfer to a shipping service provider.

Volume:

The monthly production volume is approx. 1 million pages DIN A4. This can occasionally rise to 1.5 million pages per month. The total volume comprises approximately 300,000 letter items.

Brief description of the technical and procedural requirements:

The files to be printed are transmitted to the contractor several times a day via a secure and encrypted line in the form of PCL files or PDF files. The printed matter shall be produced by digital printing with the following specifications:

Monochrome black, two-tone black/green (approximately HKS 67) and two-tone dark blue/light blue (approximately Pantone 540C and 298C), simplex, mixplex, duplex. The printing process is optional. All delivered data must be processed and sent on the specified day. The current processing status of the individual orders is available via an online portal.

A fixed contact person (with representative) is available to control and coordinate the work processes as well as for problem management.

The possibility to test new forms or changes to existing forms within 3 days must be given.

Materials:

The following criteria shall apply to the paper to be used:

- DIN A4, 80 grams, fully recycled paper with environmental angel

- DIN A4, 80 grams, light recycled paper with environmental angel

- Special material for insert printing and envelopes.

The following format shall be provided for the envelopes to be printed by the contractor with the logos of the companies and stored in closed rooms with access monitoring:
