The 1st construction phase of the coastal grammar school in Neustadt in Holstein has been completed.

This is followed by the 2nd construction phase.

For this purpose, one building is demolished and two buildings gutted, which in turn contain a partial demolition. In the gutted buildings, the statically relevant walls, ceilings and columns remain.

During the construction process, the sewer lines must be relaid and any old pipes disposed of, as well as sand excavation and the line trenches must be professionally backfilled.

The scope of services includes the surrounding sewer lines from tracts 1 and 8 of the 2nd construction phase, as well as connection to an existing pipeline under the construction road.

A rainwater cistern is to be installed in the construction area of the demolished tract 4.

1st construction phase

The 1st construction phase is completed by the new building.

This allows the measure required for the 2nd construction phase to begin.

2nd construction phase

2.1 Demolition of tract 4

2.2 Renovation of tracts 1 and 8, including construction and enclosure (HLS u. E) UG Trakt 1, after completion relocation to the buildings.

Expected construction period: April 2023 to June 2025

3rd construction phase

3.1 Demolition of sections 5 and 6

3.2 Renovation of the sports halls wing 7 and 9, including the preparation of the outdoor facilities.

Estimated construction period: June 2025 to Dec. 2026

4. Development:

Access to the construction site is via the construction road in Neustadt via Butzhorn at the northern corner of the property from tract 8.

5. Information on existing components:

-Tract 4

The load-bearing structure consists of reinforced concrete with masonry infills. The façades partly consist of clinker façades and perforated window facades.

This building will be completely demolished.

-Tract 8

The building is gutted, i.e. the façade and the internal fixtures are demolished, leaving only the columns and the phi ceilings. In the inner courtyard, a canteen, with a steel construction and glass façade, has been installed, which will be completely demolished.
