Electrical work as part of the extension (6-class new building) of the Pestalozzischule in 61184 Karben

General construction description:

In large Karben, a new residential area is being created on the northern edge. The sharply rising number of pupils necessitates an extension of the Pestalozzi School. After the demolition of a scrubbing concrete building from 1964, the existing 4-class building from 1997 is grown.

The result is an L-shaped structure that joins the existing building and stretches along the Karben path. The North Wing, which is connected to the two-storey 4-class building, will also be two-storey, the east wing along the Karben Trail three-storey with basement. The stairwell with elevator system is located at the junction of the building wings. The east wing on the Karbener Weg receives an external escape staircase as the 2nd structural escape route.

The building will be constructed using solid construction, with ventilated curtain façade with high-pressure laminate boards. The roofs are flat roofs, the east wing is greened, and the two-storey north wing gravels with a photovoltaic system.

The two-storey north wing houses classrooms, group rooms, meeting and recreation rooms for teachers, and IT rooms.

On the east wing in the basement, technical and storage rooms, the canteen with utility kitchen on the ground floor, afternoon rooms with offices on the 1st floor and further classrooms with offices on the 2nd floor for promotion.

The electricity and IT supply is provided through the existing buildings and by connecting to the Kurt Schumacher School from across the street.

The water and heat supply is also provided through the existing buildings, supplemented by a heat pump for the new building.

Protection and rainwater (mixing system) are connected to the existing sewage system.
