Sanierungsmanagement Hillerheide

The refurbishment management to be commissioned is to implement the integrated energy-efficient Hillerheide district concept for another two years. The individual process steps for networking and cooperation with the actors in the district are to be initiated and coordinated. Refurbishment management is the point of contact for the topic of energy-efficient neighbourhood refurbishment in the Hillerheide district.

Stadtentwicklungsgesellschaft Recklinghausen mbH (SER), as a wholly owned subsidiary of the city of Recklinghausen, has been commissioned by the city of Recklinghausen with the implementation of the "Integrated District Development Concept Hillerheide" (ISEK Hillerheide) and the implementation of all measures in this context and necessary.

The ISEK Hillerheide, which was developed on behalf of the city of Recklinghausen in 2015 and decided by the council, defines the following five key projects for the development of the Hillerheide district:

1. “Future concept former trotted track”

2. “Urban integration Blitzkuhlenstraße”

3. “Attractive center Gertrudisplatz”

4. "Neighbourhood Life - Networking and Supplementing the Existing"

5. “Energetic district renovation”

The aim of the implementation of the ISEK Hillerheide is to create a sustainable and future-proof residential quarter on the former trotting track site and to integrate it in the best possible way into the grown district of Hillerheide, taking into account the local development and infrastructure, the residents and their usage requirements.

Since April 2020, the "Energy-efficient district refurbishment" (flagship project 5) within the formally defined urban redevelopment area has been carried out by an externally commissioned refurbishment management, which is funded by the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) with the programme 432 "Energy-efficient urban refurbishment". The basis for the work of the renovation management is the Integrated Energy Quarter Concept Hillerheide, which describes a total of 31 measures to reduce energy-based CO2 emissions. The three-year term of the restructuring management ends in mid-April 2023 and is to be extended by two years, subject to a promotional commitment from KfW.

The focus in the implementation of the concept is in particular on a methodical activation and advice of the owners, tenants and citizens of the district Hillerheide on energy consumption, energy saving potentials and energy efficiency standards. In this context, the restructuring management is the contact person on site and is located in an office in a central location in the district of Recklinghausen Hillerheide.
