Salix Homes Ltd is an award winning social housing provider based in Salford, Greater Manchester. It is a not for profit organisation and is responsible for approximately 8 500 properties.

Salix Homes intends to procure and award two contracts for a responsive drainage service, the scope of which includes unblocking drains, high pressure jetting, excavation work and drain pipe replacement. The service must be delivered in accordance with the response times set out within Document B (Specification). The services may be required and must be available 365 days a year. The contract is divided into 2 Lots the details of which are as follows:

Lot 1 — Drainage Services.

Lot 2 — Water Management.

Bidders are permitted to tender for 1 or both Lots.

Attention is drawn to Living Wage requirements of both Lots, the details of which are clearly set out within Clause 28 of Document E (Conditions of Contract).

Salix Homes will be hosting a Meet the Buyer event for bidders on 14.7.2017.

Drainage services covering unblocking drains / gulleys and toilets, high pressure jetting, excavation work, CCTV drain surveys, bin chute unblocking, drain pipe replacement and associated works.

Repairs to underground water main bursts, general water management and associated works including excavation and reinstatement works.
