The Ministry of Foreign Affairs self-insures its employees, cf. the circular on self-insurance in the state, etc. (Circular no. 9783 of 9 December 2005). As a result, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has adopted internal insurance conditions that include, among other things, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' expatriates and advisers.
This invitation to tender concerns the administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' self-insurance scheme. The tender is conducted as a public tender of 2 lots in accordance with the rules of section II of the Danish Public Procurement Act (LBK no. 10 of 6 January 2023).
The two delaphtals include the following areas:
-Lot 1: Sickness and repatriation and full-time collective accident cover.
-Lot 2: Damage to transport of household goods, luggage and disaster cover.
Lot 1: Sickness and repatriation and full-time collective accident coverThe task offered includes administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' self-insurance scheme, including processing and payment of reimbursement of claims from all over the world related to:
- Sickness and repatriation
- Collective heltidsulykkesdækning
The task also includes providing a round-the-clock emergency call centre to ensure treatment and follow-up in case of acute injuries and illness covered by the insurance conditions. Administration of the self-insurance scheme must be carried out in accordance with the conditions, sums, covers and terms laid down by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The self-insurance scheme must be properly administered according to the individual categories of staff and the differences that apply to it.
The supplier must ensure prompt and best possible treatment and follow-up in connection with illness and injuries covered by the self-insurance scheme.
Lot 2: Damage to transport of household goods, luggage and disaster coverThe task offered includes administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' self-insurance scheme, including processing and payment of reimbursement of claims from all over the world related to:
-Transport damage to household furniture
-Luggage
-Katastrofedækning
Administration of the self-insurance scheme must be carried out according to established conditions, sums, coverages and terms. The self-insurance scheme must be properly administered according to the individual categories of staff and the differences that apply to it.
