FIAS AS (Fjellregionens Interkommunale Avfallsselskap AS) [the Mountain Regional Inter-Municipal Waste Company AS] will procure a refuse collection vehicle with a two chamber compactor addition. The refuse collection vehicle will be used for collection of waste from households and industry. Sacks, cans and containers are emptied. The vehicles will be used for collection of sorted waste fractions from residential areas and scattered buildings. Relevant fractions are residual waste, food waste, paper/cartons, corrugated cardboard, glass/metal packaging and plastic. The anticipated driving distance is 55 000 km per vehicle per year.
