Award of a subcontractor contract for the provision of transport services in public transport on the Stuttgart network 1 Lot 1 on the routes Tübingen — Stuttgart Hbf and Tübingen — Mosbach-Neckarelz as part of a replacement concept.

The contractor shall provide the train services entirely on his own train number, with its own equipment, energy and its own train drivers. Where operators are required for operational reasons, these shall be provided by the contractor. The services, in particular ticket inspection, are provided by the client's staff, which, however, cannot assume any operational tasks. Assuming path responsibility (registration of lines and station holds), operational management and emergency management is the responsibility of the contractor. With regard to vehicle requirements, reference is made to the specifications which can be found in the procurement documents.

The services consist of daily circulation (operating on weekdays, except Saturdays and 24./31.12.2021) and a circulation of rush hours (runs on weekdays, except Saturdays and 24./31.12.2021). The services for daily circulation are to be provided from 30.8.2021 to 29.10.2021, and the services for circulation in rush hour are to be provided from 13.9.2021 to 29.10.2021.

The order includes an extension option by unilateral choice by the contracting entity for one or both rounds with a respective term until 10.12.2021 (1st option) and up to 14.1.2022 (2nd option).
