With this tender, the City of Lucerne grants the concession for the implementation and operation of public charging stations in city-owned parking lots.

For the already defined locations (see Document C “Description and Specifications of Locations”), the City of Lucerne will implement the basic infrastructure and the network development (expansion stage C2 according to SIA 2060).

The procurement and installation of the charging stations (expansion stage D according to SIA 2060) as well as the entire operation will be undertaken by the concessionaire. Installation and operation (maintenance, billing, customer service, customer identification, etc.) are to be offered by the providers as a comprehensive service from a single source. For the execution of the work, providers may involve subcontractors.

For the occupancy of the parking spaces and the use of the basic infrastructure and network development funded by the City of Lucerne, the providers shall pay a concession fee to the City of Lucerne.
