The public procurement has the subject: “Technical software maintenance, repair support and development in the post-warranty period of the traffic management and control system in Plovdiv.” This procurement includes Software support of the TMS for 12 months, hardware support of the TMS for 12 months, upgrading with equipment at intersections as assigned by the contracting authority if necessary, delivery of parts for TMS as assigned by the contracting authority if necessary, mandatory training of staff. The subject of the current public procurement is a service. The traffic management system (TMS) in Plovdiv is implemented as an open system, allowing for continuous improvement with new functionalities and improving the user interface. The main elements of the system are built and adapted for operation at the Traffic Management Center (TMC) in Plovdiv in accordance with Contract BG161PO001/1.5-03/2011/001-D-09 No. 14ДГ1418 dated 17.12.2014 for the execution of a public procurement for “Designing, construction and implementation of a traffic management center” under the project “Modernization and development of sustainable urban transport in Plovdiv”, SFDP No. BG161PO001/1.5-03/2011/001, implemented by the Municipality of Plovdiv as a beneficiary under the Operational Programme “Regional Development” 2007 – 2013.
