The general objectives of this contract are to guarantee the security conditions of people. The following services are included:

1) Information service on prevention measures, aimed at beach users;

2) Surveillance of the beaches;

3) Salvage and first aid;

4) Accompaniment service to the bathroom for people with reduced mobility;

5) Service to avoid the loss of children;

6) Verification of discharges and other environmental incidents on the beaches;

7) Collaborations with the City Council and coverage of extraordinary events within and outside of service hours.

1) Information service for users: among the prevention measures, the company will place each of the beaches and in a visible place, posters or information panels in which users are informed clearly and briefly, the instructions and accident prevention advice, as well as any other instructions deemed useful for users in relation to the use of beaches and the provision of assistance services (static prevention). The information messages issued will be simple and easy to understand for anyone, using various languages: Catalan, Spanish, French and English. On the other hand, this prevention will also be carried out verbally by the lifeguards assigned to each beach (dynamic prevention);

2) Surveillance of the beaches: the winning company will watch to prevent any dangerous situation that may occur on the beaches of the municipality, informing users who suffer them of the risks, both on the sand and in the sea;

3) Rescue and first aid: the winning company has as its main objective the immediate intervention when a risk or accident situation occurs that will only cease when it is considered that the injured persons are out of danger, after having received the aid and healthcare necessary;

4) Accompaniment service to the bathroom for people with reduced mobility: the service will be provided through an amphibious chair or with special crutches to accompany the person assisted in the water. The service will be provided with or without prior telephone consultation;

5) Service to avoid the loss of children:

a) It will be made available to whoever considers it, identifying bracelets for children and other users who require it, in order to avoid losing them on the beaches;

b) They will collaborate in the detection of a lost user, in the event of the incident;

6) Verification of discharges and other environmental incidents on the beaches:

a) The contractor company will check daily if there has been any discharge of wastewater or other substances on the beach, at susceptible points. The check will also be done after a rain episode;

b) In the event of detection of a spill, whether it affects the sand or the bathing water, the action protocols defined by these situations were activated;

c) Ensure the detection and collaboration in the resolution of possible incidents that may occur on the beaches of the municipality;

7) Collaborations with the City Council and coverage of extraordinary events within and outside of service hours. Collaboration with sports or recreational events related to the beaches of the municipality of Begur.

It will participate in environmental or risk education campaigns on the beaches that both parties determine.

b) Observation, identification and count of jellyfish and other floating solids daily;

c) Monitoring the satisfaction of the services offered to the beach users;

d) Collaborate with the appropriate for the maintenance or obtaining of badges, certifications and accreditations that may be related to the provision of their services;

e) Perform a count of users to the beaches where service is provided, once a week;

f) It will carry out the transmission of the data in the portals and / or administrations that the City Council considers;

g) Activity memories: weekly, monthly and season report.
