The client intends to renovate the Steinbach dam in Kempfeld-Katzenloch. The subject matter of the services to be awarded is the replacement of the flat run-in screens with screen baskets and the expansion of the system with inspection closures at the upper and lower raw water extraction and at the basic outlet, the installation of two cover components on the upper side of the inlet structure for lower raw water removal and basic drainage and the installation of a float deflector with access from the existing bridge to the operator's house at the extraction tower in the area of the flood relief system, each made of stainless steel. Advance work is required to implement the measures (disassembly of the rakes, the dam slide panels including suspension, retaining structure and linkage, and the covering components on the removal tower, detailed measurements of the inlet areas for upper and lower raw water removal, basic drain and for the cover components). At least the inlets for lower raw water removal and basic drain, as well as the area of the new cover components, will be under water at the time of the order. Depending on the end of the restart, which is absolutely necessary at the end of the year, the inlet for upper raw water withdrawal may also be under water at the time of the order.
