La Splang, with the support of the territorial community of Guyana and the city of Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni, completed the rollout in 2019 of the first tranche of a very high-speed network within the municipal territory of the city of Saint -Laurent-du-Maroni, to link priority sites (GFU). This network is made up of sheaths and optical fibers.
La Splang also wishes to link the future FTTH network of the city of Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni to the city of Cayenne.
The purpose of this consultation launched by Splang is to designate a service provider with which a single-attribute framework agreement will be concluded relating to an activated link between Cayenne and Saint-Laurent for speeds ranging from 100 Mbps to 1 Gps.
