SWEG Südwestdeutsche Landsverkehrs-AG (SWEG for short) is a transport company with state participation and, together with subsidiaries, operates regular bus services in urban and interurban areas (ÖPNV) as well as rail passenger transport (SPNV) in numerous regions of Baden-Württemberg.

SWEG is planning the new construction of a service building on the site of the Offenburg depot with the installation of an underfloor wheelset lathe.

Procurement includes planning, manufacturing, delivery and ready-to-use assembly and commissioning of an underfloor wheelset lathe for rail vehicles as well as the instruction or training of the client's employees on the underfloor wheelset lathe for rail vehicles.

The regulation on the construction and operation of railways regulates the basic requirements for the functional and technical design of the facilities to be used for handling railway operations.

The contractor must comply with these specifications and the accepted rules of technology.
