Drainage, transport and disposal of the resulting sewage sludge of approximately 1,000 tons per year for the Rothenburg ob der Tauber sewage treatment plant, Creglinger Str. 1 a, 91541 Rothenburg ob der Tauber for a total of 4 years from 01.01.2022 to 31.12.2025.
The annual amount of fully anaerobically stabilized sewage sludge amounts to approximately 6,000 m³ of wet sludge. This is subject to a fluctuation range in relation to the TR content of 3.5% up to 5%. Powerful agitators ensure complete homogenization in the two sludge stacking containers, which have a capacity of 1,500 m³. The resulting filtrate can be pumped out into a sufficiently large buffer tank so that uninterrupted drainage can take place. For reasons of power savings and better filtrate water quality, the sewage sludge has to be dehydrated using a chamber or membrane filter press to at least 25% TR relative to the filter cake. The sewage sludge should be dewated/recycled at regular intervals within the specified period March to October, but no more than 2 to 4 dewatering operations. It is not possible to store the dewatered sewage sludge temporarily; the filter cake must be removed in troughs or containers.
