Supply and installation of a needle-punching machine for the production of round needle-punched tubular felts

A new two-part technical center building is currently being built on the Münchberg campus of the University of Applied Sciences Hof. In one of these two parts, a new experimental line for the production of hydroentangled and thermally bonded nonwovens will be set up. In the second part, machines are to be installed with which high-performance inorganic fibers, such as basalt and glass, can be processed into innovative textile surfaces and preforms. In order to achieve these goals, the University of Applied Sciences Hof will procure a needled fleece system for the production of round-needle felted felts.

In the second part, machines are to be installed with which high-performance inorganic fibers, such as basalt and glass, can be processed into innovative textile surfaces and preforms. In order to achieve these goals, Hof University of Applied Sciences will procure a needle-punching machine for the production of round needle-punched tubular felts with the following core requirements:

- Possibility of producing round needle-punched tubular felts - spiral hose construction for different pipe wall thicknesses,

- Round needling technology with needle boards (top & bottom), according to perforated branch pipe,

- Replaceable, perforated branch pipes for variably adjustable pipe diameters,

- Design for inorganic, synthetic and natural fibers in a wide range of fineness,

- Driven, infinitely adjustable material supply to the needle,

- Hose trigger and hose rotation via trigger thread.

- Optionally, the following requirements are also made for the round-robin system:

- design for processing C-fibers,

- Reversible material handling feed,

- Automatic cutting device.

Due to the possibility of carrying out experiments and production of small sample series, the round needling machine should be used successfully in the research service sector, as well as for the practical part of scientific work. Another focus is the use of the facility for the acquisition and processing of third-party funded projects.

The space available for the system can be seen in the plan entitled "Space concept for round needling". All necessary legal conditions for the operation, eg. B. escape routes, max. Noise emission etc. must be observed.

KO criteria

The KO criteria formulated in the specification of services relate to the mandatory requirements imposed on the needling system. Answering these KO criteria with "No" will result in the exclusion of the tenderer from the tender.
