The Montessori Förderkreis Rothenburg od T. e. V. plans to build a new Montessori elementary and middle school with after-school care in BA I and expansion of a single-field sports hall in BA II.
The primary school will have 4, the middle school 6 classes and the after-school care center 2 groups for a total of 213 students.
The plot has a total size of 16,680 m
The basic idea of the design is to connect 3 building wings to a joint as the center. This forum serves as the heart of the school, which connects not only the 3 parts of the building, but also the floors via an airspace. In its load-bearing structure, the school building is designed as a reinforced concrete skeleton structure and is intended to be used in all

Overall, the new school is planned as a compact and very economical building. It brings together the currently separately located Montessori branch primary school in the district of Neusitz and secondary school in the old town of Rothenburg under one roof.

The technical room is on the ground floor.
Drinking water is supplied to these by the municipal utilities and distributed from there. Distribution to the tapping points takes place on the ceiling of the ground floor and in shafts. The risers are attached to the walls. There is a fresh kitchen and a teaching kitchen on the ground floor. The equipment for these is not part of the specification of services and is awarded separately. In the building there are 20 toilets for students and teachers as well as 2 toilet rooms with disabled facilities. A total of 5 tea kitchens will be installed in the public areas and the staff room.
