Purchase of an articulated lift platform

The tender includes the delivery of a mobile bridge inspection device, also known as a basket device or articulated lift platform, on a truck basis for use at Department 4/43 Civil Engineering and Building Inspection Center at the Stuttgart Regional Council.

It is intended to provide close access for structural inspection according to DIN 1076 on bridges, tunnels, gantries, noise barriers and retaining structures.

In order to be able to carry out a structural inspection on these different types of structures, it must be possible to move the work cage with test personnel in all directions via a movable arm system.

The working platform of the cage device must be swivelling and telescopic in the direction of travel to the left and right, upwards, downwards, backwards and forwards for the test surfaces to be swiveled. The working platform, including the operator and the test personnel, must be able to reach all test points in the swivel range within a maximum of 3 m of lane width, without stationary supports, in truck driving and testing mode (i.e. in forward and reverse).

The vehicle is used for structural inspections in the entire area of the Stuttgart Regional Council (required: truck long-distance gear ratio and short gear ratios for test drives, good maneuverability (steering axles) in confined spaces)
