The municipality of Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf is planning to expand the Fred Vogel Primary School. The school is located at Tieckstr. 38 - 39 in Fredersdorf Süd. Currently, the Fred-Vogel Primary School and the Secondary School with a sports hall, each housed in different parts of the building, are located on the site. The playgrounds are also spatially separated. The move out of the secondary school is planned for the summer holidays 2023, the school will then move into the newly built new building at Landstr. 40 in Fredersdorf Nord.

The municipality of Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf plans to merge/expand the school location in Fredersdorf Süd into a primary school location after the secondary school has moved out. For the measure, in addition to

- structural changes to the school building (adaptation of the floor plans of the classrooms),

- official permits (building application for a change of use due to the conversion of the secondary school into a primary school and the merging of the school grounds into a campus) and

- the revision of the fire protection concept and the fire protection regulations with all parts is necessary.

- In addition, the outdoor facilities must be adapted and

- the technical equipment of plant group 5 is to be extended/renewed.

This tender deals with structural changes to the school building (adaptation of the floor plans of the classrooms), the official approvals (building application for a change of use due to the conversion of the secondary school into a primary school and the merging of the school grounds into a campus) as well as the revision of the fire protection concept and the fire protection regulations with all parts required.

The subject of the tender are planning services of the service profile Object planning buildings including the approval planning for the conversion of the secondary school building into a primary school and the formation of the school campus, the performance profile of specialist planning Structural engineering and the consulting service fire protection planning.

With the expansion of the primary school campus, the current 3.5

Speed to increase another move to a 4.5 speed. On the existing primary school grounds, the pupils of the grades of the 1st - 4th grades are to be taught in the future. The buildings of the primary school include the primary school building of the Hort, a school extension and a barn. In the future, students in grades 5 - 6 will be taught on the grounds of the secondary school. Here is the old school building, which is not part of this planning, the main building with dining room, the sports hall and the sports field with a tartan track.

The basis of this tender is the feasibility study of the engineering office Dr.-Ing. F. Seidel GmbH of 02.02.2022. It primarily examined whether the structural conditions for the future 4.5 speed with regard to classrooms and after-school care rooms are met. But also the food supply, the sports hall capacity and the redesign of the schoolyard were examined. The result of the feasibility study shows that the prerequisites for a 4.5 speed on the school campus are met. With regard to the after-school care and the all-day care planned from 2028, a double use of the classrooms must be taken into account. The study recommends an extension building, but this is not part of this tender.

building design

In the school building itself, the floor plans must be checked and adapted. Primarily some small classrooms are to be given a room size of 60 m2. Statically, this was pre-checked, the verification including conversion is part of the service. This is about the relocation of a few walls, overall only minor conversion measures.
