Collection and transport of waste from households in Gentofte Municipality
The present tender concerns the collection and transport of waste from citizens in Gentofte Municipality. This involves food and residual waste once a week from approx. 10,200 villas, approx. 2,400 dwellings in terraced houses and one or more times weekly from approx. 20,500 apartment buildings spread over approx. 600 specific apartment buildings. Similarly, dry recyclable fractions in 2-piece containers (paper and glass) and (metal and plastic, food and drink cartons). Villa and townhouses will have the option of their own 240 L container for cardboard. Apartment buildings have separate 1-chamber containers for residual and food waste, plastic, metal, cardboard, textile waste and small electronics. Finally, there are services relating to bulky waste and garden waste.

The tender is conducted as a public tender in accordance with Act No. 1564 of 15 December 2015, the "Procurement Act", which means that any suitable tenderer has the right to submit a tender.
The contract is offered as a contract. The municipality assesses that there are significant administrative advantages associated with one contract. The municipality offers a long contract where flexibility is needed for changes in collection schemes that are not fundamental changes. This change access is ensured by having a single contract, where offsets within the framework are kept within one contract.
The tendered contracts enter into force upon signature and are valid for the period 26 February 2024 - 29 February 2032. Furthermore, the contract includes an option to extend for 2 x 12 months. The terms of exercise of the option are set out in the tender documents
