The service concerns the total execution (planning, direction and execution) of the transport of pupils, residing within the municipal boundaries of the municipality of Steenbergen (hereinafter referred to as client). The pupils are transported to and from special schools for primary education, regular primary education, special and secondary special education in various places in the southwest of the Netherlands. In view of the mental and physical limitations of a large number of pupils, transport must be carried out with special care. From 1 January 2024.

This assignment concerns transport from the various municipal centres of the municipality of Steenbergen to the school facility and vice versa. Student transport is carried out during all weeks of the year, from Monday to Friday, with the exception of school holidays. This is based on an average of 200 transport days per school year. In addition, weekend transport may also have to be carried out in specific cases.

At the moment there are 169 children in transport. These data are only an indication as a tool for tenderers (snapshot). No rights can be derived from this.
