The contract applies for Region North, but only includes Finnmark County.

The contract is a collective contract with unit prices. The contract will be awarded the tenderer with the lowest price.

The contract period is 2 years (2015 and 2016). Option for the Contracting Authority to prolong the contract with 1 + 1 year at a time. The maximum total contract period is 4 years.

If the Contracting Authority wishes to prolong the contract, the tenderer will receive a written notification about this, within 3 months prior to expiration of the contract.

The estimated annual contract value is 7 000 000-12 000 000 NOK, dependent on public allocations and unforeseen incidents/damages on bridges in Finnmark.

The works include maintenance and bridge and tunnels structures in Finnmark. Typical assignments are:

Repairs and replacements of bridge equipment:

— Replacement of joints,

— Repair of joints,

— Replacement of bearings,

— Laying of joint sills,

— Railing works;

Concrete works:

— Concrete repairs,

— Concrete reconstruction,

— Bottom casting of steel pipes;

Steel works:

— Surface finishing of steel structures;

Tunnel maintenance:

— Water and frost protection in tunnels.

Prior to start of works for each assignment, job orders with descriptions of scheduled maintenance will be prepared. The contract's unit prices shall be used to the largest possible extent.
