The municipality of Belm is planning the extension and conversion of the Belm secondary school.

The subject of this award procedure is the painting, varnishing and wallpapering work required for the construction project.

The construction work to be awarded is divided into the following construction phases:

1st construction phase “Extension of the secondary school”

The execution for the first construction phase is planned for the period from week 47 2023 - week 16 2024.

The new building consists of:

ground floor = level 0

1st floor = level 1

2nd upper floor = level 2

with various rooms, for example:

- Level 0: classrooms, canteen, cleaning supplies, toilets, technical rooms, stairs, elevator

- Level 1: classrooms, stairs, lift, technology, cleaning supplies

- Level 2: classrooms, stairs, lift, technology, cleaning supplies

Net room areas:

Level 0 approx. 1,296m2

Level 1 approx. 1,396m2

Level 2 approx. 716m2

Total: approx. 3,408 m2

2nd construction phase “Conversion of teacher and administration area as well as reconstruction of fire protection measures and elevator on levels 0 to 2 of the secondary school”:

The painting, varnishing and wallpapering work provided for this purpose takes place at different times and at different levels. Since some rooms in the existing building will continue to be used by teachers and students during the renovation work, the work will always be carried out in close coordination with the school management. The entire construction work is expected to take place between CW 38 2024 and CW 40 2025. The contractor must be available for all assignments at short notice (max. one week's lead time).

Since the "extension of the secondary school" will not be built as a completely free-standing building, but will be connected to and into the existing building on the various levels, tile, slab and cast stone work must also be partially carried out in the transition areas of the existing building as part of the extension.
