The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health (hereinafter ”STM”) and Finnish institute for health and welfare (hereinafter "THL" or “Customer” ) request your tender for Hepatitis B Vaccine belonging to the National Vaccination Programme in Finland.
The contract period is about two years 2023-2025. The procurement contains two options to extend the contract for the periods 2025-2026 and 2026-2027.
Estimated quantity for the contract period including option is 188 000 doses (48 000 doses for children and 140 000 doses for adults). Customer reserves the right to increase or decrease the ordered numbers of doses by up to 20%.
The contract will be awarded to one Supplier based on a comparison of tenders. Tender that is economically the most advantageous will win the competition.

The purpose of STM and the Customer is to procure Hepatitis B Vaccines for children and adults required for the National Vaccination Programme in Finland for risk groups. The tendered vaccine for children must be suitable for children aged 0-15 years. The tendered vaccine for adolescents and adults must be suitable for people aged 16 years and over.

The Customer will implement the procurement on behalf of STM. The roles of STM and Customer are described in more detail in section "Presentation of the contracting authority".
The subject of procurement and the mandatory requirements relating to it are described in detail in this Call for Tender and its annexes. The contract will be awarded to one Supplier based on a comparison of tenders.
CONTRACT PERIOD
The contract´s duration is about two years. Estimated quantity for the contract period is 24 000 doses for children and 70 000 doses for adults (in all 94 000 doses). The customer reserves the right to increase or decrease the ordered numbers of doses by up to 20%.
The Contract period shall enter into force once the contract has been signed, and expire when all contractual duties have been performed. After the contract period, the Customer reserves the right for the option described in section "Description of renewals".
Tenders will be compared in the manner described in section "Grounds for decision" of the Call for Tender.
