With this government contract, the city council of Roeselare wishes to take out insurance for occupational accidents and physical accidents. The tenderer to whom this contract has been entrusted will be authorized to send, in the name of the board, the data relating to the regulation of accidents at work to the competent medical service, designated in accordance with the legislation on accidents at work sector (sector of 3.7.1967 and its implementing decisions).

Pursuant to the Royal Decree of 8.5.2014 determining the authority of the board of medical expertise and amending certain provisions regarding accidents at work in the public sector (BS 6.6.2014, effective 1.7.2014), the policyholder grants power of attorney to the insurer to contact the victims of a public sector occupational accident with a view to obtaining the certificates of healing and the service of the cure in claims of less than thirty days of incapacity for work.

This assignment is reserved for insurers, without the intervention of intermediaries. Only direct offers from insurers will be retained.

This assignment concerns a framework contract, in the sense that the possibility is provided for the other institutions, affiliated with the city (independent agencies, AGB, [...]), to enter in accordance with the terms of this assignment. However, the insurer has the option of refusing or formulating an amended proposal in the event of unfavorable statistics for this institution. This proposal should be in proportion to the seriousness with which the statistics of this board differ from those of the city.

The contracting authority ensures that this contract is carried out with due regard for anti-discrimination legislation.
