The services advertised in LOS 01 are the operation of the necessary infrastructure for the operation of our Ilias systems (Illias, Campus, BBB, ViMP, LRS) as well as the necessary peripheral systems, in a managed service approach.

Lot 2 includes support with conceptual questions about use, technical operation and customizing of the ILIAS web application, available plugins and support in the technical support of courses. The contractor supports the client in the planning, conception, implementation and further development of the ILIAS web application, also with media didactic competence.

Central requirements are:

• Offering computing power, memory and network infrastructure.

• The operation of software based on this such as operating systems, middleware, database servers, web servers, communication systems and the like.

• Operating and safety concept

• IT-Service-Management (Change, Patch, …)

• Service readiness

• Communication and documentation take place in German

The contract term is 48 months with the option to extend this contract twice by 12 months if necessary.

The services are generally billed via a monthly lump sum. For unforeseen requirements beyond the services described here, 10 person-days per year are planned, which are billed according to expenditure.

A high degree of reliability and performance of the system environment, personal responsibility, proactivity, service readiness and coordination with the client and the other service providers involved are expected.

According to § 80 para. 2 SGB X, the processing of social data may only take place in Germany, in another member state of the European Union, in a member state of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland or in a third country, provided that an adequacy decision has been made for this in accordance with Art. 45 GDPR. This spatial restriction does not only extend to the storage location, but basically covers all processing situations, in particular maintenance and support processes.

The above-mentioned requirements also apply without restriction to any subcontractors used. In particular, a data export/data outflow to the USA must be avoided in any case. Particular attention must be paid to the integration of external content and the use of tracking tools/analysis tools.

The ILIAS services refer to the three ILIAS instances operated independently of each other by the Client. These include the learning portal accessible on the Internet, the learning platform Basiswissen accessible on the Internet and the learning platform Campus, which can be accessed on the internal intranet. Communication and documentation take place in German.

The subject matter is the support for conceptual questions about the use, the technical operation as well as the customizing of the ILIAS web application, available plugins and as well as the support in the technical support of courses.

The Contractor supports the AG in the planning, conception, implementation and further development of the ILIAS web application, also with media didactic competence. For this purpose, functional requirements are formulated jointly, solutions are proposed by the Contractor and implemented after consultation with the Client.

The Contractor supports the Client in the design of the user interface as well as the user guidance and carries out adjustments to the skins used in the ILIAS web application.

The Contractor shall carry out a continuous support and update of the ILIAS web application, a timely elimination of occurring errors / malfunctions.

The Contractor conducts advice on the use, configuration and customizing of the ILIAS web application and the plugins it contains.

The object is not the support of the underlying components, peripheral systems, infrastructure and services. These are covered in Lot 01 – Hosting.
