The assignment includes the provision of incident response services to the Client. In the event of a (large, complex) incident, the Client may engage the Contractor to:

Analysis: mapping the extent and cause of an incident and investigating/responding to it expeditiously and adequately;

Coordination: coordinating the approach to the incident at the UT. Coordination of the work may relate to all parts of the Assignment;

Defence and mitigation: containing and eradicating the "contaminated" parts of the IT infrastructure ("fire function");

Research; conduct digital forensics ('detective function');

Evaluation and reporting: adequate transfer of results (investigating details) to incident response partners designated by us ("report function").

The delivery and/or use of hardware and software for the execution of parts of this Assignment.

The purpose of this public tender of the Client is to award the Agreement to 1 Tenderer(s). The intended

effective date of the agreement is April 22, 2023

In view of the nature and estimated scope of the Agreement, the Client will follow a European public procurement procedure in accordance with

the Public Procurement Act. The open procedure means that the qualification and award takes place in one phase.

Award criterion in this tendering procedure is the lowest price.

The Client has opted for an open procedure in view of:

● the scope of the Assignment;

● the position of SMEs;

● the transaction costs involved in tendering;

● the number of potential Tenderers;

● the desired end result;

● the complexity of Assignment.
