The procurement contract is for the the manufacture and supply of Combined Oxygen Generation Systems (COGS) for HM Submarine Fleet.

Oxygen generation is a vital component in submarines remaining submerged and gas management allows certain waste gases to be processed and ultimately discharged into the sea in a quiet and operationally effective manner COGS has been selected as the only viable and cost effective solution to the requirement by In-Service Submarines Design Authority for Ships' Systems (ISM). The proposed contract is for the procurement of COGS equipment supply only. Through life support will be provided by current and future (MET LOT 18) availability contract arrangements.
