Mission and service description

The supplier will provide hardware and consulting support to Ljungby municipality's existing network platform with products from Cisco.

The consultant must work with appointed assignments from the client. The consultant can work remotely for the most part, but should also be able to appear on site at various times, such as collaboration meetings and major operational disruptions.

The supplier provides the appropriate equipment for the consultant.

The consultant's instructions, other documentation and detailed system description must be handed over to the client and be in Swedish. The consultant must communicate in Swedish.

The supplier shall also be an advisory party in the product area and assist Ljungby municipality in future needs and changes.

The supplier shall provide a consultant with competence and experience in wireless network products, network switches and surrounding systems such as Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA. This person should be able to perform work activities in, for example:

Wireless network design and troubleshooting

Cisco ISE Design and Troubleshooting

Cisco DNA Design and Troubleshooting

Wired network design and troubleshooting

Knowledge transfer in connection with work performed (aims to enable the client's own staff to manage the environment)

The consultant should have CCIE certification or similar work experience according to specified requirements.

The supplier shall be a CSCO Gold Partner. Proof of this must be provided on request.

The customer must be able to report cases by email or phone Monday to Friday between 8:00-16:00. In the event of major operational disruptions, the customer may need priority on-site support within 2 hours.

The wireless network is intended for the municipality's staff and students and is built accordingly. However, there is a constant increase in the number of devices from both students and staff and there is already a perceived lack of capacity in parts of the wireless network.

Ljungby municipality will mainly set up the access points themselves, but intends to take some help from the supplier with the configuration of these.
