DESCRIPTION OF THE OBJECT
The subject of the ongoing procurement is security technical systems and services related to security technology. The Criminal Sanctions Agency will procure security technology used in prisons and the maintenance service for the security technology. The upcoming procurement will cover all prisons of the Criminal Sanctions Agency.
The procurement includes at least the following systems:
* IP-based cell and intercom system
* Public address system / Announcement
* Audio monitoring system for special cells
* Intrusion alarm system (linked to outdoor area surveillance: laser, ground radar)
* Escape alarm system
* Video surveillance system
* Access control and working time monitoring system
The procurement can be carried out either as a single package or divided into areas based on systems.
The procurement is above the EU threshold value and will be carried out using the negotiation procedure in accordance with the Act on Public Procurement in Defence and Security.

The mission of the Criminal Sanctions Agency is to enforce prison sentences and community sanctions, as well as the enforcement of pre-trial detention. The Criminal Sanctions Agency currently has a total of 28 prisons located across mainland Finland.
