The University of Lüneburg Foundation intends to procure a high-resolution mass spectrometer of the type of an Orbitrap and a coordinated UHPLC system.

As an Exploris 240 mass spectrometer with a Vanquish Flex UHPLC system and software including Aquire X for non-targeted MS from Thermo Fisher, the purchase of an Orbitrap is considered mandatory, as only a high-resolution Orbitrap mass spectrometer has the required high mass resolution. Furthermore, a tuned UHPLC system (e.g. with regard to the software and drivers) must be offered for the mass spectrometer. For this reason, the Exploris 240 mass spectrometer with a Vanquish Flex UHPLC system and software including Aquire X for non-targeted MS from Thermo Fisher is considered a lead product.

The equivalence of the mass spectrometer offered must be proven.
