The subject of the award here is lot 1 (contract management with a management quota of 30%) of the combined construction, assembly, liability and planning liability insurance for the construction project "Frankfurt / M. Hbf., Renewal of 50Hz systems".
DB Station & Service AG is planning to renew the 50Hz systems in Frankfurt am Main main station. The renewal of the 50Hz main power supply is carried out by redesigning the transformer stations (AV1) in the main station in Frankfurt am Main. The station areas are re-planned. As a result, the medium-voltage stations Hbf. 2, Hbf. 3 in the same or adjacent rooms will be renewed. The medium-voltage systems (MV systems) Hbf. 1 and Hbf. 4 are dissolved. A new transformer station Hbf. X (ITK) is being built at the end of the S-Bahn platform.
The total investment for this project with a currently planned construction period until March 31, 2022 is estimated at EUR 58,563 million.
Of this, around EUR 3,403 million has already been billed through an existing contract. The new insurance contract advertised here will replace the existing one. A currently planned construction time is expected until March 31, 2022.
Accordingly, the provisional term of the insurance contract is also planned until March 31, 2022 (plus extended maintenance and additional liability - see below).
The insurance contract begins after the end of the tendering process, possibly from March 1, 2021 (later if necessary) following a currently existing advance cover.
(Type H-EU) In liability insurance, the sum insured per claim is a flat rate of EUR 20,000,000 for personal injury, property damage and pecuniary damage, including benefits from environmental liability insurance.
In the planning liability insurance, a separate cover sum per claim of EUR 10,000,000 is available for property and pecuniary damage. The above sums are maximized three times.
Extendend maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance section is 42 months. Additional liability is 10 years in liability insurance and 5 years in environmental liability and environmental damage insurance.
The general deductible is at least EUR 10,000. There is no deductible for personal injury. As part of the extended planning liability insurance, the contractual deductible is EUR 100,000 per claim.
The extended planning coverage is included in the planning liability insurance.
