The municipality Eching intends in the district Günzenhausen (about 900 inhabitants) to build a new building for the volunteer fire department. The old fire brigade building only has space for a fire truck. The equipment is no longer the current state of the art. The building plot corridor no. 168/1 is located on the western outskirts of the state road 2339, which comes from the B13, it goes into town in the light path. The plan is to build a fire station with a "vehicle hall" with 3 "parking spaces" and a "social area". Decisive for the erection are the requirements of DIN 14092.
What is desired is a building that fits into the townscape.
The significance of urban planning as a "weighty" building at the entrance to the town is to be taken into account in such a way that it does not give the impression of a commercial area without, however, denying the date of origin of the building.
The wish of the fire department is that the "social tract" is built in solid construction. The "vehicle hall" can be produced in a simple design. The fire brigade does not receive all functional areas of a fire department see room program. The fire department has 2 long-term vehicles and 1 trailer. In addition to the 3 parking spaces (width 5 m each), the vehicle hall should contain the storage areas for the consumables in heavy-duty shelves (depth 1.2 m). Workshop and storage areas are to be arranged behind the parking spaces in separate rooms. On a separation of black and white area is to be respected.

The problem of the intersection-free traffic between departing rescue workers and emergency vehicles, which move out, is to be solved. It is planned to build a bridge over the southern moat of the state road / light path. The planning is carried out by an already commissioned engineering office.

The development plan is developed in parallel with the planning.

Outside there are 24 parking spaces for emergency services and a practice area.
The traffic routing in case of alarm is to be made possible without crossing.
Energy concept:
In the construction sector, there is currently no gas supply and no possibility for connection to a district heating network. The applicable minimum requirements for thermal insulation must be observed. A suitable supply concept should be used to select a consumption- and maintenance-oriented sustainable energy supply.
Preliminary investigations:
To clarify the subsoil, a subsoil report was prepared. The existing soils consist mainly of loess clay, clay, marl, sand and gravel. They are traversed by stratified water veins. The floor is not stable at the top. For this reason, a basement of the building complex is not considered useful.
Sustainable soil is reached at a depth of about 5 to 6 m. The topsoil is not very permeable to water. The groundwater is about 15 m below OK terrain. There is also a chance of floor replacement in the area of the building and the paved external surfaces. From a pile foundation is assumed, this is purpose-oriented and cost-effective to choose.
