The Danish Maritime Authority wishes to enter into a framework agreement on the purchase of mooring chains and shackles for the use of floating marking in Danish waters. All chains must be without post, Class 2 (Studless anchorchain, Grade 2) and must be coated with tar paint. Shackles must be steel Grade 2 or more. similarly and splits to bend shackles heat-treated or similar, so that they do not crack / crack when bent around the shackle stick. Shackles and splits must be coated with linseed oil or similar.
