Framework contract for the supply of price-bound textbooks, printed works and workbooks for grammar schools, vocational school centres and special schools sponsored by the district

Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains for the school year 2023/2024 with options of extension for the school years 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 within the framework of the Book Price Maintenance Act.

Conclusion of a framework agreement for the delivery of price-bound textbooks, printed works and workbooks for grammar schools under the sponsorship of the district of Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge for the school year 2023/2024 with options for extension for the school years 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 within the framework of the Book Price Maintenance Act.

The actual procurement volume has not been determined at the present time, both with regard to the individual articles and the respective order volume of the schools, so the invitation to tender is based on estimates. A minimum turnover or a purchase obligation for the District Office can therefore not be derived from the estimated contract value.

The total amounts shown for that lot shall each constitute a maximum quantity at which the framework agreement for the lot shall be deemed to have been fulfilled by the contractor.

Lot 1 Grammar schools sponsored by the district

Scope/school year: 155,900.00 € (gross)

of which for:

- Weißeritzgymnasium Freital

Scope/school year: 77,000.00 € (gross)

- Gymnasium "Glückauf" Dippoldiswalde

with branch office Altenberg

Scope/school year: 78,900.00 € (gross)

A discount is to be granted in accordance with the Book Price Maintenance Act. For details, see Section 3.1 of the bill of quantities. In order to achieve the maximum permissible discount rate of 15% for a total order value of € 50,000.00 or more, the total service was divided into correspondingly large lots.

The following free services are to be provided by the contractor:

1. Free advice hotline with expert information, free order hotline / telephone order service, free fax hotline, ordering possibility via Internet

The toll-free numbers must be communicated to the client at the latest upon acceptance of the order. If this does not happen, a contract will be rescinded.

2. Assisting schools in identifying book titles, order numbers, print runs and retail prices.

3. Compilation of literature lists.

4. Professional advice with appropriate illustrative material on site.

5. Year-round free delivery of main and subsequent deliveries within 3 working days.

6. Delivery sorted and packed by classes to the individual schools / classrooms with delivery of a delivery note.

7. Immediate return of any packaging material, including outer packaging made of film.

8. Free exchange of damaged or printed books and workbooks.

9. Accounting separately by school.

The schools order their price-bound textbooks and workbooks from the contractor if possible by the beginning of the summer holidays. Summer holidays in the Free State of Saxony: from 10.07.2023 to 18.08.2023. Deliveries only by appointment with the commissioning school. The following dates are planned for 2023:

- Weißeritzgymnasium Freital: Main delivery 28./29.06.2023

- Glückauf-Gymnasium Dippoldiswalde with branch office: main delivery 32nd week

If the schools place orders only during the school year, the deliveries must be carried out at the fastest possible time.
