Extent
The procurement covers fertilizer, grass seed, sandand and other products used for the municipality's football fields and will result in framework agreements for ongoing call-offs of the total need during the contract period.
During the last four-year period, the volume has been approximately SEK 4,000,000 and can be seen as an indication of future volume, but cannot be guaranteed. The scope may change during the term of the agreement. The supplier undertakes to deliver the real needs of the contracting authority.
The customer does not guarantee any specific volume as the actual volume can both exceed and fall below stated volumes. The tenderer shall deliver the quantities of goods and services requested. Framework agreement will be signed with one (1) supplier.
Description of the mission
The bidder will supply plant nutrients, grass seeds and other related products for the care and maintenance of Varberg Municipality's football fields.
Varberg Municipality operates thirteen (13) eleven-a-side pitches and eight (8) seven-a-side pitches (all with natural grass). Several of the plans have a common fertilizer schedule with intervals of solid fertilizing.
At Påskbergsvallen, where the main pitch will be held at an elite level, there are also two training fields that have equivalent maintenance. The Elite Pitch must meet the requirements set by FIFA through tests such as propitch and the FIFA Natural-Pitch Rating System. The pitch must meet the requirements regarding ball roll, smoothness, color and grass density. It should be durable, wear resistant and have a high permeability. The pitch should be playable from April to November or into December depending on how the series is located.
During game breaks, various maintenance is done on the grass pitches governed by what the need looks like.
