Shell construction and other services for the construction of the energy center at the Ruhrallee depot of Ruhrbahn GmbH
On behalf of the city, Ruhrbahn GmbH ensures the mobility of citizens and connects the individual districts by bus, subway and tram. One of the tasks is in the area of maintenance and new construction of the infrastructure for buses and trams. This applies both to the route networks in the urban area of Essen and Mülheim as well as to the associated structures, depots, administrative buildings and a large number of smaller properties.
Ruhrbahn GmbH intends to gradually convert its entire bus fleet to hydrogen-powered vehicles. The first hydrogen-powered vehicles are expected to arrive in 2024. Until then, a hydrogen filling station is to be built at the Ruhrallee depot. An energy centre is needed for the hydrogen filling station, the extended shell of which is put out to tender here.
