The Nordøy road will provide the islands Harøya/Finnøya, Fjørtofta, Flemsøya/Haramsøya and Løvsøya a mainland connection. Three submarine tunnels and one long bridge must be constructed for this purpose.

The procurement concerns seismic tomography at 3 existing drilling holes, as well as seismic refraction at Austnes, at Fjørtofta (north and south), at Myklebust, and at Hestøya (north) between Lauka and Hestøy.

This is supplementing surveys in order to reduce the uncertainty in the project.
